Oceans Video Master Class
This eight-week journey (which may just turn into a life-long quest!) will allow you to explore your curiosity, sharpen your technical skills and push your own creative boundaries. It is intended for experienced readers looking to foster their own creativity while refining their craftsmanship. Detailed instructions are provided for each of the 25 ocean forms covered in this workshop, but what you do with them is up to you. In addition to the technical "how to" of building ocean forms, time will be devoted to discussion about finding inspiration and how to foster the creativity required to make your own unique art.

What's included:
Eight weeks of video workshops accompanied by detailed, full color, step-by-step instructions and bead kits to make a sampler of each of the twenty-five different ocean forms featured in the workshop.

Each week a new video will become available which coordinates with the printed instructions. Here's the syllabus:

Week 1: Begin Your Quest
This first week will be devoted to a discussion about inspiration, where to go to get ideas and what to look for when examine ocean forms.

After week 1, there will be an optional 1 hour small group zoom session to discuss inspiration.

Week 2: seaweed, sponges and coral

Week 3: phylum Echinodermata (starfish, sand dollars, etc.)

Week 4: phylum Cnidaria (jellyfish and anemones)

Week 5: phylum Mollusca (sea shells, nudibranchs, nautilus, squid and more)

Week 6: phylum Arthropoda (shrimp, crabs, barnacles and more)

Week 7: mythical sea creatures

Week 8: Bringing it Together into a Design
The final week will be devoted to taking what you have learned technically and applying your own creative vision to create your own unique beaded ocean work of art.

After week 8, there will be an optional 1 hour small group zoom session to discuss creativity.

In addition to the workshop itself, participants will also be entitled to:
-Membership in a private Facebook group page exclusively for the Oceans Master Class participants.
- The option to have your work featured on a special Master Class Gallery Page on the Just let Me Bead website.

Workshop all-inclusive cost: $995.

Sculpture Master Class
For years I have had requests to teach a workshop in my eye flowers but honestly, I have never felt able to do this because each and every sculpture is different and not something that I can produce a single pattern for.

Now, thanks to video, I am able to teach the techniques and math necessary to create your own, unique sculpture. This advanced workshop will include an antique (circa 1890) glass eye, a choice of 3 palettes, a master class exclusive hardcover, "lay flat" textbook featuring illustrated instructions as well as inspiring photographs and information on the creative process of sculpting.

It's more of a "mini master class" and unlike the larger "Oceans Master Class," features just the one project in a technique-based approach. Videos will be released over three weeks. This is not a workshop that offers a set pattern. The goal is to have you develop your own design from the information you receive.

If you're ready to push your own creative boundaries, to explore your own design abilities, and experiment in the realm of sculpture, this is the workshop for you!

Registration will open (assuming everything stays on schedule!) in January of 2022. Due to the unique and antique nature of the materials used in this master class, I will only be offering a limited number of seats.

Workshop all-inclusive cost: $390.
